December is coming. Some of us made it. Some of us didn't.
Some of you hit your goals this year.
Some of you didn't.
And some of you are quietly suffering through it.
Not reaching out, not asking for help, just... pushing through.
I see you.
The gap between where you are and where you wanted to be?
That hits different in December.
Everyone's posting their wins. Their year-end revenue screenshots. Their "best year yet" announcements.
And if you're not there...
If your course didn't fill like you hoped...
If your coaching program is still inconsistent...
If you're still struggling to get your education business off the ground...
December can feel heavy.
But here's what I want you to know:
That gap? It's not about your expertise.
Your content is good. Your program works. You know your stuff.
The gap is usually in the engine.
The marketing system that should be bringing students to you consistently... but isn't.
What's Actually Missing
Most education-based businesses have content.
They post. They show up. They share value.
But they're missing the ecosystem:
1. A positioning that's actually clear
Not "I help people with X" - but a specific transformation for a specific person. When people land on your profile or page, they should know in 5 seconds: "This is for me" or "This isn't."
2. A publishing system that attracts
Not random posts hoping for engagement. Strategic content that demonstrates you understand their problem better than they do. Content that makes them think: "This person gets it."
3. A portfolio that converts
One simple page (even a Google Doc) that shows what you do, who you've helped, and how to start. Most educators don't have this. So prospects have to piece it together from multiple places. Make it easy.
4. A presentation process
Whether it's DM conversations, Zoom calls, or automated sequences - you need a clear path from "interested" to "enrolled." Most educators wing this every time. Build it once.
The 4Ps: Profile. Publish. Portfolio. Present.
That's the engine.
What December Can Be
Here's the thing about December:
It's the most reflective AND the most aspirational time of year.
People are looking back: "What worked? What didn't?"
People are looking forward: "What am I going to do differently?"
So what are YOU doing with this time?
While everyone else is coasting into the holidays...
You could be:
- Building the marketing engine you needed all year
- Setting up the systems that'll fill your Q1 enrollment
- Creating the content pipeline that works while you're not
- Putting the pieces in place so January isn't another scramble
December doesn't have to be heavy.
It can be preparation.
The quiet time when you finally build what you've been needing.
Next Steps
If you're an educator - course creator, coach, trainer - who's tired of inconsistent results...
If you know your program works, but your marketing doesn't...
If you want to use these next 6 weeks to build the engine that actually fills your programs...
Not in January when everyone's scrambling.
Now. While you have time to build it right.
Some of us made it this year.
Some of us didn't.
But we ALL get to decide what we're building for next year.
What are you building?
