Should you go with your passion or profit?

Had a fruitful half day today - mentoring students and the youth looking into the media and creative industry...on how I'm running Content Clinic and Caliph Creator (among others).

Choosing what to study, what career to decide on can be pretty daunting.

When I started out - most of it was trial and error.

Balancing between what I was interested in, and also considering what was paying well.

When I look back between passion and profits...

The ventures and initiatives that I started that still last...

were the ones that were fuelled by passion and interest in the topic.

And getting good at the skill first, and the profits eventually came.

So if you're wondering about what career, business or even course of study to begin...

Ask yourself...what is it that you really enjoy?

And it generally wont feel like work...if its fun for you.
