The face behind the business.

Behind the business, don't forget... there is a person.

A person with hopes, dreams and wishes.

The same person with fear, guilt and doubt.

Doubt from others who didn't believe in them.

And also doubt themselves...on whether they can really make it through another day.

Sure, business is also about numbers, closing deals and growth.

But amidst the 'growth mode'...

I was reminded that the person on the other end...

Is still human.

Not an AI bot we're dealing with.

A person who is starting out. Struggling to get by.

Or figuring out payroll each month for staff.

Or dealing with uncertainties due to market shifting and shrinking.

And...maybe not knowing when n where the next client is coming.

So in a world where systems, automation and AI are making our lives somewhat easier...

Don't forget.

The business we are dealing with...there is still a person behind it too.

So rather than going for 'killer business instinct' or 'ruthless execution' 24/7...

Perhaps it might pay...

To just be a little kinder.
